Volumix started as a fix for a personal annoyance: Windows buries volume control for individual apps behind a mixer nobody opens on purpose, and it forgets your settings the moment something restarts. So it became free software that puts every running app on its own fader and stays out of your way otherwise.
Faderbox came next. The Printing Pilot already builds and 3D prints hardware, so pairing that with Volumix was a natural step — a real, physical fader instead of dragging a slider with a mouse.
Everything here — software and hardware — is designed, built, and supported in-house, out of Florida.
